Klose breaks Ronaldo's record

    Germany striker Miroslav Klose has written his name in the history books in today's match against Brazil after scoring a record-breaking 16th goal in the World Cup. 

    The former Bayern Munich and Werder Bremen hit-man has surpassed the iconic Brazilian legend Ronaldo to become the World Cup's top goalscorer in the tournament's history.

    The Polish-born Germany International achieved immortality status after; giving Germany a 2-0 lead over Brazil in what has become a first half goal fest by the Europeans over the host country with four goals scored in the first 25 minutes of the match.
